Privacy Policy

What we collect

When you check your address, book a rental, or contact us, we collect what we need to do the job: your name, email address, and phone number; the delivery address; details about your laundry hookups and home access (for example, whether your dryer outlet is electric or gas and whether there are stairs); and any notes you give our delivery team.

Payments are handled by Stripe. Your card or bank details go directly to Stripe over an encrypted connection. We never see or store your full card number or bank account number; we keep only a reference Stripe gives us, the payment method type, and the last four digits.

Our website also records basic technical information such as your browser type, pages visited, and a random session id, so we can understand how the site is used and fix problems.

How we use it

We use your information to check whether we can deliver to you and what it costs, to deliver, install, repair, and pick up your machines, to bill you and send receipts, to answer your questions, and to send reminders about your delivery, payments, and the end of your term.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for anything unrelated to your rental without asking you first.

Text messages

If you check the optional text-message box at checkout, we send you texts about your delivery (a reminder the day before, a heads-up when the crew is on the way) and about your rental. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop, or HELP for help. Texting is never required to rent from us.

Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Analytics

We record simple, first-party events about how people move through the site (for example, "viewed pricing" or "chose a plan") so we can make the booking process easier. These events are stored on our own systems.

If we run online ads, we may enable Meta Pixel or Google Analytics. When they are enabled, those tools may set cookies and receive information about your visit under their own privacy policies. They are off unless we switch them on.

Who we share it with

We share information only with companies that help us run the service, and only what they need: Stripe (payments), Twilio (text messages), Resend (email), and a maps provider such as Google or Mapbox (to measure driving distance to your address). Each of them is contractually required to protect your data.

We may also share information when the law requires it, or to protect our equipment, our team, or our customers.

How long we keep it

We keep your booking, agreement, and payment records for as long as you rent from us and for as long afterwards as tax and accounting rules require, usually seven years. Contact-form messages are kept until your question is resolved and for a reasonable time afterwards. Website analytics events are kept for up to two years.

Your choices

You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP. You can ask us to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing hello@rentlaundrynow.com. We will respond within 45 days. Some records, such as payment history, must be kept for legal reasons even after a deletion request.

Colorado residents

The Colorado Privacy Act gives Colorado residents the right to access, correct, and delete personal data, and to opt out of targeted advertising and the sale of personal data. We do not sell personal data. To use any of these rights, email hello@rentlaundrynow.com. If we decline a request, you can appeal by replying to our response and we will explain the outcome in writing.

Security

We use encrypted connections, restricted access, and reputable hosting and payment providers to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, so if we ever learn of a breach affecting your data we will notify you as the law requires.

Children

Our service is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we will email current customers and update the date at the top of this page.
